Squeeze Card
this type of card it packs flat but is lovely when opened. It's quite simple to make. Score at 21/2" 5" 71/2" 10" and cut at 101/2" ( landscape).
You then make a Sq for the front. I'm not sure how you would describe this type of card hence the name squeeze card. This is my version of this http://debbiesdesignsblog.blogspot.com/

Is this mixed media?
I've been having a bit of a break over christmas and the new year but am now back crafting. This card is a mixture of all things, old new and some not S U . Just wanted to play with things on my desk. The flowers use the S U petite petals punch, dipped flowers in water and screw up then reshape as you open them. Sponged with an old ink called concord crush. The paper is some from a trimcraft stack I had from Christmas, die is a memory makers sqiggle stamps are from an old S U set but it's the only one I saved so I don't
know which set. The sentiment is a current one . Can you tell I'm not at my table at the moment! Hope be back sooner than later. Friday, 19 December 2014

Friends
This week I've had a change from cards and made one or two pictures frames. I used my punches for the flowers, with a little being and tweaking. Stamped the leaves direct onto the frame (with a few deep breath s). I like to use silicone for putting it altogether as this gives you time to wiggle your flowers and set them at different angles. The sentiment is from inkylicious couldn't resist this. Frame from I Kea.

Pine Cone 2
- Thought you might like to see how this card has developed since last time. I saw on Sally Jo Houghton facebook page how to bevel the baubles and make them 3 d love the effect this makes a real WOW card now. Using only two inks my old favourites Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive . The baubles are cut out and embossed using your pricking mat and a ball tool to press in circular movements and make the raised shape. The tag are made from the left over piece of the card cut into 2" strips and using the tag punch to make the top leave square or round with the envelope punch. All tools may be purchased from me by emailing me.

Early Christmas
I've been using a set of my new stamps today, Ornamental Pine, WOW what a set I've used all the stamps but I've made lots of different cards. Here are three of then. I've so many ideas with this stamp set. these are the cards we've made at my class tonight. The first one is stamped using Night of Navy ink and card with silver embossed cones. the second is a little layering , old olive ink and Baked Brown Sugar for the cones and writing.
The last one I went for the in colours Tango twist, Mossy Meadow ,Lost Lagoon, and Hello Honey. I stamped the baubles first then masked them and stamped the pines with first second and third generation layers, with Christmas Wishes all from one set.

Much Easier Today
Just trying to
blog from my tablet.I can do the typing but was unable to upload pictures, but as you see I've done it now. Hooray! You may get more posts now as long as I remember how to do it. Here's hoping. This little card uses the heat embossing technique, I've not used this for some time but love the look of the gold and blackberry bliss together. The stamp set is a hostess set called Bloom of Hope.

First Album
A couple of weeks ago my friends hired a cottage near by for a weeks crafting and shopping. What a fantastic time I had, we shopped and crafted for four days. Great time was had. I learned new skills, crackle glazing, distressing MAY, and I made an album. I wasn't, t really expecting to do anything like this at all. Now I have more stash and more ideas thanks to some superb tuition from Shirli @ shirlscards. Trying to blog from my tablet so it's another learning curve this is the third attempt so please bear with me. For my album I have used Graphic 45 papers. Enjoy your weekend everyone of to craft.
