Snowmen

I saw these on Jackie Topa's blog a little while ago and knew I wanted to make them for my grand children aren't they so cute. I've used the new envelope board punch which I love. Its a great addition to my craft store as I have done so much with it already and I just know I'll be using it all the time. You can get three of these snowmen out of one sheet of card the mouth and eyes are the off cuts from the hat how economical is that! I've used the  Artisan punch and six sided stamps for the label and your done super quick super cute. Happy Christmas everyone

Festive Flurry

Hope your all getting in the spirit of Christmas this is almost my last Christmas card. I wanted something special so there quite a bit of work in this st5amped background then the blue background was stamped with versamark and then brayered. I used Festive flurry stamps and dies. I diecut the snowflakes to make a lift up flap and used gems to decorate the top and a special centre. The greeting is from Special  Season and Beautiful Season(retired) stamp sets. will be back tomorrow with my Snowmen.

More Crackers

Last night the ladies from my craft class came to my house for our annual "Fuddle" a lovely time to relax have some food and wine and a little crafting, prize patrol and prezzies. This year we had a mini challenge, I put certain supplies on the table and they had to make a Christmas card with these items the winner was the one which was the nearest likeness to mine. The catch was that they couldn't see mine until they had all made theirs. We had a cryptic clue quiz to name the colours from the clues, food which each person brought and just before they all left I gave them each a cracker I had made with the envelope punch Board, inside was a small file of Penhaligan perfume , after they had all had a smell of theirs my house smelt gorgeous. Well that's the last of my classes and parties for this year. Everything starts up again on 15th January Wednesdays, and  with a new class each month including a new one on a Saturday morning starting 8th February.. Contact me if you would like to come suecake200@live.co.uk

Small Packages for Little Treasures

How about this then loads of photos! Very good for me lately. the crackers are super quick using the new Envelope punch and the off cuts. The little box uses the envelope punch and a 9" square of DSP These are my demonstration items at the moment so if you'd like me to show you how to make them give me a quick e'mail and I'd be delighted to show you. Can you spot the champagne glitter paper? You only need a little of this but it lifts a your work immediately. What shall I put in the packages I wonder?

Triangles

Sorry I've been absent again! No excuse. These are some of the projects I've been working on. Quite simple little triangle boxes ready for a little craft time at my W.I. tomorrow night. They are made using the DSP from the seasonal catalogue called Winter Frost I am surprised that I like this so much as I'm usually a traditional girl using Old   Olive and Cherry Cobbler. The Festive Flurry stamp and die bundle are also used here for the tags. Hope my ladies like these tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be back with some more ideas using the envelope punch and this DSP.
