Mr Snowman(Large)

I saw this on the internet and had such fun recreating it with my two youngest grandchildren, even Grandad likes him(he doesn't always enthuse about my crafts}  I didn't do much except give Sophie and Travis the idea they diecut the shapes and stuck them on the fridge.Emjoy!

Snowmen

I saw these on Jackie Topa's blog a little while ago and knew I wanted to make them for my grand children aren't they so cute. I've used the new envelope board punch which I love. Its a great addition to my craft store as I have done so much with it already and I just know I'll be using it all the time. You can get three of these snowmen out of one sheet of card the mouth and eyes are the off cuts from the hat how economical is that! I've used the  Artisan punch and six sided stamps for the label and your done super quick super cute. Happy Christmas everyone

Festive Flurry

Hope your all getting in the spirit of Christmas this is almost my last Christmas card. I wanted something special so there quite a bit of work in this st5amped background then the blue background was stamped with versamark and then brayered. I used Festive flurry stamps and dies. I diecut the snowflakes to make a lift up flap and used gems to decorate the top and a special centre. The greeting is from Special  Season and Beautiful Season(retired) stamp sets. will be back tomorrow with my Snowmen.

More Crackers

Last night the ladies from my craft class came to my house for our annual "Fuddle" a lovely time to relax have some food and wine and a little crafting, prize patrol and prezzies. This year we had a mini challenge, I put certain supplies on the table and they had to make a Christmas card with these items the winner was the one which was the nearest likeness to mine. The catch was that they couldn't see mine until they had all made theirs. We had a cryptic clue quiz to name the colours from the clues, food which each person brought and just before they all left I gave them each a cracker I had made with the envelope punch Board, inside was a small file of Penhaligan perfume , after they had all had a smell of theirs my house smelt gorgeous. Well that's the last of my classes and parties for this year. Everything starts up again on 15th January Wednesdays, and  with a new class each month including a new one on a Saturday morning starting 8th February.. Contact me if you would like to come suecake200@live.co.uk

Small Packages for Little Treasures

How about this then loads of photos! Very good for me lately. the crackers are super quick using the new Envelope punch and the off cuts. The little box uses the envelope punch and a 9" square of DSP These are my demonstration items at the moment so if you'd like me to show you how to make them give me a quick e'mail and I'd be delighted to show you. Can you spot the champagne glitter paper? You only need a little of this but it lifts a your work immediately. What shall I put in the packages I wonder?

Triangles

Sorry I've been absent again! No excuse. These are some of the projects I've been working on. Quite simple little triangle boxes ready for a little craft time at my W.I. tomorrow night. They are made using the DSP from the seasonal catalogue called Winter Frost I am surprised that I like this so much as I'm usually a traditional girl using Old   Olive and Cherry Cobbler. The Festive Flurry stamp and die bundle are also used here for the tags. Hope my ladies like these tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be back with some more ideas using the envelope punch and this DSP.

A Little Table Present

I saw this idea some time ago and have been dying to make it. well I've done it now and I'm so pleased with how it turned out. I thought at the beginning that my way wasn't the stampin up way but it doesn't matter because we are all individuals and have our own style. so here's my take on it I can't find the link at the moment though I have tried. Inside are two Lindt chocolates. I've entered this for BlueJelly's challenge here and Make My M0nday

Morning Meadow 2

Today is a miserable Sunday but we have been in the garden this morning in between heavy showers. It was so good to be able to garden since the beginning of June, so a nice change.
This is another card from one of my Christmas workshops everyone is really pleased with it and it is relatively simple. I've used the Hostess set Morning meadow this is a real favourite of mine at the moment I've used it many times and not just for Christmas. The flowers can be cut out with the pansy punch but as I don't mind cutting out whilst I'm watching Television I don't have a punch. Some of my ladies love punching but whichever you choose you can purchase them by emailing me. The background leaves are stamped by using a spare piece of paper to stop any over stamping where you don't want it. The banners are made with cherry cobbler card and Champagne Glitter paper this is a tad expensive but I make up for that by punching small flowers out of any tiny bits left over they look great with Everything Eleanor Swirl . I'll show another day. I've also added a little sparkle on the green background.

Christmas 2

Hi

This is the follow up item to the last post a little more detailed with a bit more work. more my type but for Christmas the last one was much quicker when your in a  hurry. All these formed my December class (more to follow). I decided I'd stick to Cherry Cobbler and Champagne Glimmer Paper kit looks lovely with Old Olive leaves as well. I've got my grand children calling their colours by these names I don't know what their teachers think but I bet they ask why they call them by these names. Hee Hee! This is quite simple using the Lattice die, a circle die The bird punch for the leaves and the flower from Morning Meadow and a small centre punched with the owl punch I think this is the best punch I 've ever bought I use it for almost everything, Good job it's built to last.

Starting Christmas Cards

I've been doing quite a few Christmas cards and 3 d  items and as usual this is my favourite colour combination. Very traditional I know! but I can't help myself . One of my class was asking for a simple card using stamps you can also use all year so this is what I came up with. Using everything Eleanor with Morning Meadow or Flower Shop with the greeting from Special Season the  berries are stamped used the rubber on the end of my pokey tool!

Stampin Connection

Over the weekend I placed this ornament on a website for stampin up demonstrators, imagine my delight when I returned to the sight to find it was the top sample this was a really proud moment to think that so many people had left such lovely comments and bothered to have a closer look at my creation.
it was made using 4 lattice dies scored and folded like a fan
with a single cut to the middle. Glue the centre folds together and then glue each piece together. place a large circle in cherry cobbler behind  and glue and a stamped flower from the hostess set morning Meadow or Flower Shop in the centre and a frosted Finish Embellishment from the Autumn winter Cattalogue.

In The Pink

As some of you know I have had to have an op a few weeks ago, hence not much news on here.  I'm making good progress and almost back to normal.I have been crafting though so here's a sample of one of my cards I love these telescopic style cards they look quite small in the envelopes and then they extend to a lovely size. this one folds to 5" x5"
but extends to about 16" You can make them any size ideal for people without a die cut machine. I made one last year for Christmas. I've used Fabulous Florets and Sassy Salutations. With Always Artichoke and Pink Pirouette inks with second generation stamping to vary the leaf colouring. Hope your all enjoying the summer weather I can't remember not wearing a coat for so long! Will try and blog more often.

Old Papers

Good Morning,

Sorry I've been absent for a while. I've had an operation but (and a little scare) but all is on the mend now. even my mojo. so today I have a card or two to share although I've used some of my very favourite papers sadly now discontinued you could use any papers that go together well. I used 7cm squares of paper to make the carrier bags scored at 1 cm sides and bottom and two small circle punches to make the handles. I love the Happy birthday stamps just right for the younger people a bit sassy don't you think. They are called Sassy Salutations.

I'm waiting for my new stash to arrive I only ordered it Monday eve and its down for delivery today so can't wait Festive flurries stamps and dies two lots of papers and a Christmas tree. I've been making Christmas cards using hostess gift stamp sets so I have more cards to post using these.

Hope you like them!

The first picture uses the beautiful Gingham garden Papers and also the new Artisan Label Punch with Label Love stamps.

The second uses one sheet of DSP and the same punch and stamps together with the Scallop Trim border perfect for putting a cheque or money in the centre pocket.

If you would like your own catalogue or to order anything from it I would love to hear from you.

Been busy!!!

Life sometimes gets so busy that theres no time to do my favourite things, but his is quite a simple card I 've made this week using old and new from stampin up The old is the soon retiring elegant lines embossing folder and the new is the simply pressed clay and moulds for the little flowers on the bells. Do you know what I've used for the bells? Its the bib from the owl punch. Joanne Galnar's idea at Regionals just love it.. We had a blast last night at my launch party where I showed the ladies how easy the flowers are. My downline Michelles demo was with the Best of flowers set super topper she made.I'll try and get a photo to post ASAP.  Off to play some more now  Hope to be back sooner rather than later!

One Stamp Set Two Cards

This stamp set Stippled Blossoms is my favourite at the moment together with the baby wipe technique.
I've so wanted to play with this set but have had to wait for a few weeks. So glad I ordered it!
I stamped using large blossoms with Pretty in Pink and using the the stamp-a-m-jig to position the top layer. I used my reinkers on a baby wipe for the flowers. The large flowers  were stamped onto the card and another layer made and cut out to decoupage over the top. Although the leaves may be stamped two step I only used a single stamp. Hopefully I 'll have some more time tomorow to play.

SAB

Where does time go? its flying by.Anyway the other week my new downline Michelle and I went to nottingham to Victoria Rogers for some training. We nearly took home 2/3rds of the raffle prizes between us but thought we'd stop at two each. It was well worth our money and our time. these are samples of some small thank you cards we made and then put in a little folder. I've already sold a few as there so cute. The little wndmills use the die in the new Spring summer Catalogue and the butterflies are the free stamps Blooming Marvellous. Hope to be back real soon will more samples
