Hi
I've been to my caravan in yorkshire for a few days and as the weather wasn't so good rained for about 24hours solid not just raining but pouring. fortunately i'd taken my craft stash with me and this is one of the things i made yesterday. i'd seen it on Sally Jo blog and loved it so much just had to have a go. it was quite time consuming but I do love it.http://stampin-sally.blogspot.co.uk/ as I haven't got any stampin aplphabet stamps I've improvised with some I had years ago but it was good to practice with. The snowfakes are stamped using mixed bunch this is such a versatile stamp set. the roses are made from the centre cut out into a spiral and rolled up again securing on the base with glue.
Hope to be back real soon with more projects.

Golden Wedding

Hi
Sorry I've not blogged much this week had another cake to do.i have only been able to use my old computer which doesn't upload photos, hopefully everything is back to normal now. It took as long to do as the wedding cake last week but it is my favourite sort of cake. Royal iced embroidery flowers and dropped loop work. there were a few hairy moments when I had to turn the ckae upside down to achieve the upper loops on the side of the cake but it all went to plan and I'm very pleased with the results.

Wedding Cakes this week

Good Morning!
Phew don't know where last week went life just took over together with not having my prpoer computer. I had this wedding cake to do for Friday am so that kept me pretty busy as the bottom two tiers are sponge and I didn't make them until monday afternoon so no presure. i much prefer to do rich fruit and have it well on its way by the last week. Anyway it was all done and dusted on time so hope the wedding went well.
We had a produce show as well on Tuesday night at my WI so I neede to bake a lemon drizzle cake, cheese scones and jam tarts. I entered some runner beans atomatoes and my longest bean. We had a fun night enjoyed by all. Well I have got a golden wedding cake to do this week but hoping to get some cards done aswell so see you soon.

The butterflies were coloured using the daubers and Concord crush will have to fall in love with Eggplant when this is finished at the end of the month. The swirls are using Everything Eleanor in old Olive and small flowers using Season of Joy. Hope you like it i do as its a bit different for the flower stamp you can either hand cut or use the punch for ease and quickness. Back soon Sue

Marry Me Eleanor
This is my favourite wedding stamp (Marry Me), although it is retired I have kept it for me until I can buy a new current one i like. I hadn't got any wedding cards in my box and when a freind needed to make a couple we decided to craft together. We had a lovely time together mine were very different to her beautiful vintage style ones but thats what its all about to me each of us have our own unique style even though we use the same things. nothhing is the same. Everything Eleanoe is so useful on every sort of card wedding birthday or just to add a little something on the edge of a card.Friday, 24 August 2012

Good Morning Stampers,
As you can see I've been playing with my mixed bunch stamps and I found they are not just for now, but you can use them for Christmas. I wanted to try and mak one of the gate type cards with a punched folde aperture and I've done it. I use my favourite christmas colours old olive and cherry cobbler. Well I've got to go and make a fruit cake for a golden weding and a wedding cake so although I'd much rather stamp have to make those cakes today.Speak soon, Sue
